WHY?

Our desire to connect with God, and each other during this time, need not be dampened by the fatiguing monotony of our screens. If you’re feeling tapped out from technology and desperate for a soul-renewing experience, the “Walking Church” meditations may help.

The time to ground in God, walk with Love, and pay attention to what’s most true, good, and beautiful, has never been more important.

WHAT?

There are four “Walking Church” meditations included in the FREE PDF Download.

  • Walking Meditation #1: In God I Live & Move

  • Walking Meditation #2: Holding My Worry with God

  • Walking Meditation #3: Embrace God’s Pace

  • Walking Meditation #4: The Ancient Way Home

  • Walking Meditation #5: The Trees Will Clap

WHERE?

It’s simple. Just walk out your front door, or hop in your car and drive to your favourite park or trail. These reflective walking experiences work in urban, suburban, and rural environments.

WHEN?

Whenever you want. Just 30-45 minutes is all you need to use these meditations well. The longer you can give yourself, the better. Each of these four meditations may work nicely for a Sunday “gathering”, or to replace a mid-week small group, or daily devotional practice.

WHO?

On your own, or whoever you might want to have join you!

  • Walk “together” with your family, friends, small group, or members of your congregation within the acceptable “social-distance” parameters set in your region.

  • Walk separately, inviting your friends, family, and church members near or far to participate in these reflective walking experiences with you. You can even plan to walk at the same time and then gather online to reflect and debrief your experience together.

  • Find creative ways to use and adapt these meditations for your next church service, small group meeting, retreat, staff meeting, or daily devotional practice.

HOW MUCH?

This ten page resource is being offered as a “pay-what-you-can” experience. The suggested donation is $20.00
