“Solitude is not something you must hope for in the future. Rather, it is a deepening of the present, and unless you look for it in the present you will never find it.” -Thomas Merton
The pace of life, the speed of information, and the noisy nature of our days, makes it difficult for us to find the space, and the quiet we need to slow down and wake up to our souls. Going on retreat, even if just for a few hours, allows you to calibrate the rhythms of your life as you get in touch with your body, heart, mind, and soul.
“The soul is covered by a thousand veils.” (Hazrat Inayat Khan) Taking time away with others to learn and explore the terrain of your soul is a way to remove “the veils” that cover the truest places within you.
Silent & Semi-Silent Retreats
When was the last time you took a few hours to “be” instead of “do”? Slowing down and taking time away from your routine and distractions is the first step to inviting solitude and silence into your life.
Our first SOULWAY Retreat was sold out and we can’t wait to get back together in January 2020 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Stay tuned for information coming soon.
