If you are someone who loves to marry adventure with intentional soul work, this trip will deliver. Women and men of all ages (18 and older), who are able to walk an average of 25km/ day, want to experience the comradery of staying in pilgrim hostels, and enjoy being in the company of a small group of six people, should consider applying for this soul-full pilgrimage.

This trip plan is unique. It has been created with every type of pilgrim in mind - for those who want to walk with a group, and those who do not. This trip gives the flexibility for those who want a small seven-day taste, and for those who want to walk a much larger portion of the Camino, but like the idea of starting out with some group support. The trip dates have been chosen so that those who wish to walk the entire Camino to the city of Santiago, will arrive around Labour Day Weekend.

Trip Itinerary - July 28 to August 6, 2019 (with option to extend)

• Day 1: July 28 - Leave Toronto (or meet us in Paris next day)

• Day 2: July 29 - Arrive in Paris and travel to St. Jean Pied du Port (the official start of the Camino Frances)

• Day 3 - Day 9: July 30-August 5 - Seven days of walking the Spanish countryside on the Camino to the city of Logrono. Each night we will stay in a pilgrim hostel (an Albergue)

• Day 10: August 6 - Depart Logrono to the gorgeous beach town of Bilbao - or continue walking on your own Camino. Walk five more days to Burgos, thirteen more to the city of Leon, or continue walking another twenty-five to finish the Camino in Santigo de Compostella

• Those who are ending their walking in Logrono, may continue their trip on the beaches of Bilbao, or fly home.

How much does this trip cost?

The trip cost is $1800.00 CAD.

Includes:

• Train tickets from Paris to St. Jean Pied de Port

• 8 nights accommodation in pilgrim hostels (albergues)

• 8 evening dinner “pilgrim” meals (includes multi-course meals with incredible Spanish wine!)

• Train ticket from Logrono to famous beach-town Bilbao

• Personal Camino Passport

• “On-the-trail” support - both logistical and personal

• Evening debrief and reflection sessions to help you get the most out of your daily experience

• Two, one-hour personal coaching sessions to prep (before the trip) and process (once you have returned home). These will be done online unless you can meet in Burlington, ON.

• One, one-hour group session done online to ensure the group is well prepared to travel together

• Full packing list and gear support

• Walking-plan to help you physically prepare before the trip

• Comprehensive resources (including reading list, articles, poetry, history of the Camino)

Exclusions:

• Does not include airfare (from Toronto to Paris, or from Bilbao to home). Christa can help you with logistical details.

• Does not include taxi transfers to and from airports.

• Does not include breakfast, lunches, or snacks (food is very affordable in Spain and these meals are on your own to reflect your own dietary needs and preferences while walking)

• Does not include any additional tourist purchases or gear.

• Does not include trip insurance (it is suggested that you purchase this on your own).

Upon submitting your form, Christa will be in touch with you to confirm your participation and give you instructions about your $100 application fee.

The trip is limited to 5 people and is a first come-first serve basis.

NOTE:

• $100 non refundable application fee is due upon submitting your application.* (Christa reserves the right to cancel your spot at any time, and you will receive a full refund.)

• $750 due by April 15 (or date of registering if after April 15). $1300 due by June 1. $1800 due by July 1

• If cancelling before May 1, 50% of amount paid is non-refundable. If cancelling between May 1- July 1, 75% paid is non-refundable. If cancelling after July 1 - you will only receive $100 in return
