YOGA BASICS Workshop - Part 1

This two-class workshop is designed for the absolute beginner. No previous experience is necessary and all fitness/skill levels are welcome. Whether you’ve ever stepped in a yoga studio before or not, these two, 1.5 hour sessions will:

  • help you know what to expect in an average yoga studio class,

  • introduce you to the basic foundations of yoga postures

  • give you a chance to ask your specific questions in a safe and supportive environment.

  • focus on proper alignment to support health to your nervous system

  • provide breath work to relax and energize you

  • support deep stretches targeting those particularly tight places

  • build strength strength, muscle endurance, and tone

  • provide you the confidence to check out classes in your local area.
